     The Big Band From the Valley originated close to fifty years ago in Rose Valley, Delaware County, PA. 

     The area is a haven for artists of every endeavor including notable actors Claude Rains and Richard Basehart.  It was in this climate that a dance band began rehearsals in the historic Old Mill.  Since then, we developed into a finely tuned unit attracting top flight musicians.

     Although our roots are with the all time big band greats, we adapt that excitement to today's music.  The variety of music runs from the 40's to today's hits.

     The band is comprised of the full complement of three trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, piano, bass, and drums.

     Our leader, Bob Deddy, shares the vocal duties with the lovely Marge Miller while the entire band sparkles with the special musical arrangements from music director, Bill Willis.

     The band plays for private functions, weddings, country clubs, and concerts (indoor and outdoor) throughout the Delaware Valley.
